The process flow of composite plastic film consists of the following steps:
Raw Material Preparation:
Choose suitable substrates such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), aluminum foil, etc.
Choose suitable adhesive, such as polyurethane, modified polyester, epoxy resin, etc., to ensure that its performance meets application requirements.
Strict inspection and screening of raw materials to ensure quality standards.
Substrate pretreatment:
Corona treatment, flame treatment or chemical treatment of the substrate to increase surface tension and improve adhesion.
Adhesive coating:
Apply the adhesive evenly to the substrate surface using a coating machine.
Control coating thickness and temperature to ensure uniform distribution of adhesive.
Compounding:
The substrates coated with adhesive are compounded with other substrates through a composite machine.
The composite method includes dry compounding, wet compounding, extrusion compounding and co-extrusion compounding.
Dry compounding roller adopts the method of hot pressing to press the substrates together, suitable for most plastic substrates.
Wet compounding bonds combines the matrix by solvent and is suitable for some special materials.
Extrusion lamination melts and extrudes the thermoplastic resin and compacts it with the substrate.
Co-extrusion lamination uses multiple extruders to extrude different resins and combine them into one.
Drying and curing:
The laminated film dries in the oven, evaporates and solidifies the solvent in the adhesive.
Control drying temperature and drying time to ensure that the adhesive fully solidifies and does not affect the properties of the substrate.
Cooling:
Cool the dry composite film to room temperature with a cooling roller.
Curls and splits:
The cooled composite film is coiled up.
Cut the composite film into the required width and length using a dispenser according to the customer's needs.
Quality inspection:
The finished composite film is subject to strict quality inspection, including appearance inspection, thickness measurement, peel strength test, heat seal strength test, barrier performance test, etc..
